My training is self-taught but my youthful encounter with Mrs. Paule Marrot was decisive.
This great lady of the textile world generously shared with me her extraordinary passion for the 140 cm compositions, corresponding to the width of the fabric.
Later on I also extended my know-how in the fields of graphic design, creation of bed linen, tablecloth and plates, as well as carpets. Then I presented my designs for textiles at fairs in Frankfurt (HEIMTEXTIL), Lille (INDIGO), New York (SURTEX), Brussels (MOOD), Como (COMOCREA), Valencia (TEXTILHOGAR), Paris (MAISON & OBJET), and Hannover (DOMOTEX), which has allowed me to constantly increase the number of international customers who appreciate my artwork.
From a textile composition in 140 of wide, my artistic universe widened then in the specific work of the texture in itself thanks to a passion for photos in close-up. allowing to reach also to a collaboration with the wall and floor industry.
At the same time, I have exhibited my unique works in Paris (MANIFESTATION D’ART CONTEMPORAIN au GRAND-PALAIS, and in various bank branches), in Lyon (ESPACE 21) and in Brussels (CENTRE CULTUREL).
In parenthesis of my status of freelance textile designer, I had 2 exclusive and non successive annual contracts with, on the one hand and in France, the MANUFACTURE D’IMPRESSION SUR ÉTOFFES, and on the other hand and in Germany with TAUNUS TEXTILDRUCK.
I currently exhibit my new artwork at HEIMTEXTIL and DOMOTEX, and more recently at EVOLUTION in Amsterdam.
